When a child is fighting cancer, the entire family is fighting too. The hospital visits, the treatments, the travel, the sleepless nights, the weight of an impossible diagnosis, it never stops. Families living through childhood cancer rarely get the chance to step back, exhale, and just be together.

Briana’s House will change that.

We are working to build a free, short-term retreat and cancer relief center located on the East End of Long Island, New York, a peaceful, welcoming home away from home where children undergoing cancer treatment and their families can take a much-needed break from the hospital environment and simply enjoy the moments that childhood should bring.

Briana’s House will feature:
• Private family suites for restful overnight stays
• Communal spaces for connection, support, and community
• Areas designed for therapeutic and recreational activities
• A warm, welcoming environment, provided at absolutely no cost to families

Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 to build and equip Briana’s House. Every donation brings us one step closer to opening the doors for families who need it most.

Named for Briana Harper Dolomite, who faced diffuse midline glioma with extraordinary courage, grace, and joy, this house will stand as her lasting legacy and a sanctuary for every family that walks the road she walked.

She Never Stopped Finding Joy

Briana was eight years old when she was diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG) in July 2023. In the eleven months that followed, she rang every bell, raced hospital hallways, and never once lost her sparkle. On June 29, 2024, at just nine years old, she earned her angel wings, surrounded by her family and unconditional love.

Up until her very last breath, Briana found reasons to love the world. Following her lead, we plan to exude that same love, and build something in her honor that will bring comfort to families for generations to come.

What Briana's House Will Offer

More Than a Building. A Refuge.

Briana’s House will be designed from the ground up with families in mind, a warm, fully equipped retreat center where every detail exists to provide comfort, connection, and peace.

Private Family Suites

Comfortable, private overnight accommodations so families can rest and recharge together — away from hospital rooms and the stress of treatment schedules.

Communal Gathering Spaces

Shared areas where families can connect with one another, find community, and know they are not alone. Because sometimes the most powerful thing is being in a room with someone who truly understands.

Therapeutic & Recreational Areas

Dedicated spaces for therapeutic activities, play, creativity, and healing, designed to bring lightness and joy back into the lives of children and their families, even during the hardest times.

Completely Free of Charge

Every service, every stay, every resource at Briana’s House will be provided at absolutely no cost to families. A childhood cancer diagnosis already costs a family everything. We will never add to that burden.
